The construction of two new additions began in December 2006. This project will double the size of the Wood Rehabilitation Center and add a classroom, conference room, chapel, solarium, private dining room, three new activity spaces and offices.

New initiatives are also being implemented and guided by the principles of The Eden Alternative, an innovative care concept taking hold nationwide. Its goal is to bring Mother Nature and holistic care into a more intimate environment.

With individualized programs and diverse facilities, Wood Village will continue to provide the opportunity for individuals who need health, housing or rehabilitation services to live with autonomy and dignity.
